Data transfer occurs when winget downloads an application from your repository. For example, suppose you have the following: 2,000 users, each having 20 applications from your repository installed. Every application is updated 3 times per year and has an installer that is 50 MB in size. Then the yearly data transfer is 2,000 x 20 x 3 x 50 = 6,000,000 MB. This equals 6 TB.
